About the role
The Public Health Assistant will support the design and delivery of community‑focused health programmes in Lagos. Working closely with the public health team, you will help raise awareness, collect data and ensure compliance with national health guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing public health programs and campaigns.
- Conduct community health education and awareness activities.
- Support health screenings and outreach initiatives.
- Collect, compile, and maintain public health data and records.
- Monitor disease prevention and health promotion activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations and programme documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the public health team.
- Liaise with community members, healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with public health policies and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Minimum B.Sc. degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar public health role.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
