Project Manager – Construction

About the role

Rekrut Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects in Lagos. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from pre‑construction planning through delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑construction planning and coordination.
• Engineering design oversight.
• Site supervision and construction management.
• Contract administration and management.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Risk identification, management, and problem‑solving.
• Resource allocation and utilization.
• Government liaison and regulatory compliance.
• Project delivery monitoring and performance tracking.

Required profile

• BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Registration with COREN/NSE.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
• Firm, assertive, and professional personality.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction processes and project management.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
