Project Manager – AV Solutions

About the role

The Project Manager for AV Solutions will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of audio‑visual integration projects for Definitive Electronics. You will act as the primary client liaison, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners, providing regular updates and training.
• Review and confirm project designs and engineering drawings, identifying gaps early.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Coordinate with owners, builders, architects, electricians, and other stakeholders to align schedules.
• Schedule and manage installation and programming teams while supporting technician development.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs versus estimates, and identify savings opportunities.
• Oversee quality control, including system testing, inspections, and adherence to company standards.
• Ensure accurate as‑built documentation is completed for future service needs.
• Coach and mentor lead technicians and technicians, fostering a high‑performance team culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing audio‑visual or similar integration projects.
• Strong communication skills to keep clients and partners informed.
• Ability to monitor budgets, control costs, and drive project profitability.
• Leadership experience in coaching technical teams and enforcing safety guidelines.
