Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily food‑processing shifts, ensuring smooth production flow, compliance with quality standards and a safe work environment. This role coordinates staff, resources and schedules to meet output targets while upholding regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of food‑processing shifts, maintaining efficient production flow.
• Ensure all output meets established quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized workplace at all times.
• Plan, coordinate and manage shift schedules, handovers and personnel utilization.
• Monitor and optimise use of production resources.
• Evaluate employee performance, providing coaching and feedback.
• Enforce the organization’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Identify and monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) throughout the production process.

Required profile

• Proven ability to communicate clearly across all staff levels.
• Working knowledge of utilities and basic technical systems used in food processing.
• Solid understanding of HACCP principles and CCP management.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills for time‑sensitive environments.
• Experience in a supervisory role within food processing or manufacturing is an asset.
