Production Supervisor – Bottled Water

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily bottled water manufacturing operations in Lagos, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This role combines hands‑on supervision of staff and equipment with continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily bottled water production activities to achieve output targets.
• Monitor production schedules and coordinate manpower, machinery, and materials for efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimise downtime.
• Track production output and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Conduct routine quality checks and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Train, motivate and assign tasks to production operators and factory workers.
• Monitor equipment performance, report faults and coordinate maintenance activities.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 12 months of supervisory experience in bottled water, beverage, food processing or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, SOPs, GMP and HACCP standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
• Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
