Solar Technician – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Solar Technician to join our team in Lagos. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing and repairing solar power equipment, ensuring reliable operation for our customers. The role involves on‑site work and requires a safety‑conscious, customer‑focused attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test and repair solar installation equipment such as inverters, lithium batteries and controllers.
• Diagnose technical faults and implement corrective solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers when required.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, maintenance and technical activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of SSCE, OND, HND or a relevant technical qualification.
• Practical experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical or renewable energy systems is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and work on‑site as needed.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Professional, safety‑conscious and organised attitude.
