Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our garment manufacturing operations in Lagos. You will translate design concepts into efficient production plans, ensuring high‑quality output that meets brand standards and delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete garment production process from sampling to final quality checks.
• Coordinate with designers, pattern makers, tailors, cutters, suppliers and quality control teams.
• Develop and monitor production plans aligned with sales orders.
• Manage fabric, trims and material availability to support smooth production.
• Supervise sampling, fittings, alterations and bulk production.
• Ensure garments meet quality, design and finishing standards.
• Allocate tasks, lead production supervisors and artisans.
• Monitor costs, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Prepare weekly and monthly production reports and track production costs.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory documentation and health‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, Production Management or related field.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in fashion garment production, including luxury, couture or bridal.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, sewing and finishing techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to lead production teams and manage external vendors.
• Excellent leadership, planning and organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
