Product Developer (IoT & Smart Metering)

About the role

Laiedon Innovations is seeking a Product Developer to lead the creation of IoT‑enabled smart metering solutions. You will own the product development lifecycle from concept through MVP launch, collaborating closely with engineering and the founding team.

Key responsibilities

• Define product specifications and development plans based on business and customer requirements.
• Coordinate hardware integration (sensors, meters, control units) with the software platform.
• Prototype, test, and iterate product features, ensuring technical feasibility and user relevance.
• Maintain the product roadmap and development timeline.
• Conduct market and competitor research within the BEMS and smart‑metering space.
• Work with the founding team to achieve product‑market fit as the company scales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–5 years of product development experience, preferably with hardware‑software integrated products or IoT.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities and a hands‑on, builder mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with product management tools such as Notion, Trello and Jira.
• Experience using prototyping tools like Figma.
