About the role

The Placement & Career Services Lead will design and execute strategies that boost employability and job outcomes for programme beneficiaries. This role combines career coaching, employer engagement, and data‑driven tracking to ensure graduates secure sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement career services and placement strategies aligned with programme goals.
• Provide one‑on‑one career coaching, employability training, CV/cover‑letter/LinkedIn profile reviews, and interview preparation.
• Match graduates with internships, apprenticeships, and full‑time roles based on employer needs and candidate skills.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, recruitment agencies, and industry partners.
• Organise career fairs, networking events, and job‑matching sessions.
• Track placements, employment outcomes, retention rates, and maintain accurate beneficiary databases.
• Prepare placement reports, success stories, and performance dashboards for programme management and donor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, safeguarding standards, and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 48 months of relevant experience in recruitment, career services, or graduate placement.
• Proven ability to design and deliver employability programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in monitoring KPIs and preparing analytical reports.
