Partnership Manager (NG0)

About the role

The Partnership Manager will lead the identification, negotiation and management of strategic collaborations that support the organization’s mission and growth. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines business development, resource mobilization and stakeholder relationship management within the NGO sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with corporations, development agencies, foundations, government bodies and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement partnership strategies, prepare proposals, concept notes, sponsorship packages and presentations.
• Secure financial and in‑kind contributions to support programs and organisational expansion.
• Serve as the primary contact for strategic partners, coordinating meetings, reviews and regular communications.
• Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, MoUs and collaboration frameworks.
• Work closely with programme teams to ensure delivery of partnership commitments and track impact metrics.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date partnership database, prepare performance reports and dashboards for management and partners.
• Monitor sector trends to identify new collaboration opportunities and support joint visibility initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in partnerships, resource mobilization or business development within the NGO/non‑profit, international development or social‑enterprise ecosystem in Nigeria.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in securing grants, corporate sponsorships or institutional funding.
• Established network of contacts with corporate, donor and government entities in Nigeria.
