Business Relationship Manager

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to lead POS merchant acquisition, develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities. The role is remote and full‑time, supporting the company’s fintech and banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in business development activities, acquire new merchants and sell the bank’s products and services.
• Cold‑call, network and use social media to generate sales leads.
• Create and execute marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
• Conduct daily sales team meetings, review performance and plan weekly activities.
• Maintain and grow existing business relationships and conduct market research.
• Participate in trade fairs, community events and cluster marketing activities.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech or related industries.
• Strong understanding of the local financial services market.
• Experience in merchant onboarding, POS device sales and lending services is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Tertiary education from a recognised institution.
