Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and optimise the day‑to‑day operations of LuxChairs, a division of The Lux Place Ltd, based in Lagos. The role will coordinate cross‑functional teams, improve processes, and ensure timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational performance across Project Management, Production, Procurement, Quality Control, Stores and other functions.
• Establish and enforce operational workflows, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency, accountability and predictability.
• Monitor overall project delivery performance, identify causes of delays, coordinate between Project Management and Production, and ensure production capacity matches confirmed projects.
• Escalate operational issues affecting customer delivery and translate lessons learned into process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to align production schedules with project requirements, monitor output and turnaround times, and address labour, equipment, material or process constraints.
• Support planning for increased production capacity, monitor rework, waste and production inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum BSc degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar operations management role.
