Operations Manager

About the role

Superbo Media is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee its commercial multimedia production studio and 24/7 solar‑powered co‑working space in Lagos. You will be the operational backbone, ensuring smooth daily activities, vendor performance, and seamless client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage studio rentals, client onboarding, and session readiness.
• Oversee co‑working space subscriptions, capacity scheduling, and facility upkeep.
• Coordinate solar inverter maintenance and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
• Maintain vendor relationships (internet, security, cleaning, maintenance, supplies) and negotiate contracts.
• Lead logistics for live events, podcasts, and client productions hosted on‑site.
• Handle local HR tasks: onboarding documentation, attendance, leave tracking, and basic compliance.
• Provide daily and weekly operational updates via Slack, email, and video syncs, flagging risks and adapting processes as the portfolio grows.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, office management, or executive support, preferably in tech, media, or startup environments.
• Strong organizational ability, high personal initiative, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken English for reporting to New York leadership.
• Integrity in handling facility access, petty cash, and vendor contracts.
