MEP Engineer – Full‑time (Multiple locations in Nigeria)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to lead the design, implementation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across multiple projects in Nigeria. The role involves managing all phases of MEP work, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering safe, functional building services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage MEP designs and implementation for new projects and renovations, covering HVAC, pumping, fire‑fighting, cooking‑gas and piping systems.
• Design and execute all MEP systems in‑house, ensuring they meet current regulations and standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date certificates of compliance and oversee inspection, testing and handover processes.
• Analyse recurring equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, review contractor installation and method statements, and manage snagging lists.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines, procedures and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing design within a consulting firm.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures and practices.
• Proficiency in reading plans, prints, specifications and schematics.
• Computer literate with good communication and organisational abilities.
