Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and execution of plumbing systems for our construction projects in Lagos. The role involves full‑cycle responsibility from concept design through to on‑site installation and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Design water supply, drainage and piping layouts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed technical documentation for all plumbing works.
• Provide specialist expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from design coordination to installation oversight.
• Supervise on‑site plumbing installations, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and timelines.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders for integrated project execution.
• Ensure all plumbing systems meet relevant codes, industry standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in plumbing/mechanical projects, both site and office.
• Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage and piping systems.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• AutoCAD proficiency.
