Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to join its consulting team in Lagos, Marina. You will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and compliance with project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical systems for consulting projects.
• Generate technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Contribute to plumbing and general mechanical design tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Ensure project deliverables are accurate and completed on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Professional certification or licensure preferred (e.g., COREN registered engineer).
• Experience in a consulting design environment, including plumbing design.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD and BIM tools: AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience with plumbing system design.
