Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our Automatic Hydraulic Block Moulding Machine in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid fault diagnosis to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance on the Automatic Hydraulic Block Moulding Machine.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults to minimise downtime.
• Replace worn or damaged components such as bearings, pumps, gearboxes and other mechanical parts.
• Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure compliance with health, safety and operational standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to machine operators as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with Automatic Hydraulic Block Moulding Machines or similar hydraulic production machinery.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently.
