Loan Field Agent

About the role

The Loan Field Agent will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding and managing a portfolio of loan clients in Lagos. You will work directly in the field, conducting verification, credit assessment and ensuring timely loan disbursements while maintaining high repayment discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Source and onboard qualified loan clients.
• Manage and grow a performing loan portfolio.
• Conduct field verification and credit assessment.
• Monitor repayment behavior and portfolio quality.
• Drive consistent monthly loan disbursement performance.
• Support recovery efforts and ensure repayment discipline.
• Maintain accurate borrower records and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in loan marketing, micro‑finance, fintech lending, cooperative lending or credit operations.
• Strong understanding of borrower assessment and loan recovery.
• Existing network of potential borrowers within Lagos.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
