Legal Officer – Property Transactions

About the role
Elite Pillar International Limited is seeking a motivated Legal Officer to support its real‑estate portfolio in Lagos. You will work closely with the management team to ensure all property transactions are legally sound and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and vet property instruments such as Deeds of Assignment, Lease, Sub‑lease, Mortgage and Gift.
- Draft and review Sale Agreements, MOUs, NDAs and Powers of Attorney.
- Conduct title searches and basic due‑diligence investigations.
- Liaise with external lawyers, government agencies and land‑registry officials.
- Advise management on legal risks related to property deals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Support dispute‑resolution and documentation processes.
Required profile
- Minimum B.Sc. qualification.
- At least 12 months of experience in a similar legal role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
