Legal Executive

About the role

The Legal Executive will provide comprehensive legal and corporate advisory support to Chairborne Global Services Limited, ensuring that all activities, contracts and business decisions comply with Nigerian laws and industry regulations. The role involves managing internal legal affairs, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, and supporting corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and practical legal advice to management and various departments on corporate, commercial, operational, employment and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on contracts, memoranda of understanding, service agreements, leases, NDAs and other legal instruments.
• Identify legal risks in business transactions and recommend mitigation measures.
• Maintain accurate records of legal documents, monitor contractual obligations, key dates and compliance requirements.
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of applicable laws, regulations and industry developments.
• Liaise with external solicitors, regulators and government agencies on litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters.
• Support corporate governance activities, statutory compliance, board documentation and corporate filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognised institution and called to the Nigerian Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years post‑call experience in corporate, commercial or in‑house legal practice.
• Proven experience in contract management, legal advisory, compliance and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory law.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
