Law Clerk (Remote) – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support our client’s commercial real estate and energy transactions. The contractor will work from anywhere, assisting legal teams with drafting, reviewing and managing documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real estate and energy law, including regulatory compliance and due diligence.
• Manage transactional documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and lease agreements.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw or LexisNexis.
