Junior AI Implementation Specialist

About the role

We are supporting a Nigerian fintech firm as it expands, ensuring that new AI‑driven tools for customer support and data processing work reliably in real‑world conditions. As a Junior AI Implementation Specialist you will translate abstract AI capabilities into practical, day‑to‑day workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Audit customer interaction logs to pinpoint where automated responses fail or cause confusion.
• Clean and organise internal datasets so AI tools receive accurate, correctly formatted information.
• Map existing automated approval logic to identify bottlenecks or unfair rejections.
• Draft and update standard operating procedures for the operations team to intervene when human review is needed.
• Test different prompts and configurations to optimise AI‑generated answers for the local market.
• Monitor daily performance of newly deployed tools and flag technical errors to engineering.
• Document every system change and logic adjustment for client hand‑over.
• Verify that data from AI tools is correctly recorded in the main company database without duplicates.

Required profile

• Strong logical thinking and the ability to analyse broken processes.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic formulas.
• Clear, concise writing skills for documentation and communication.
• Genuine interest in how software solves operational problems in a fintech environment.
• Curiosity to test tools, discover edge cases, and improve them.
• Self‑discipline to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
• Basic understanding of software integration, even without hands‑on experience building connections.
