IT Auditor

About the role

The IT Auditor will support the Internal Audit Team Lead by evaluating IT systems and processes, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This position strengthens IT governance, security, and operational efficiency through timely assessments and actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and review IT audits to verify that adequate controls are designed and operating effectively.
• Develop and execute risk‑based IT audit plans covering governance, security policies, strategic planning, system development, access controls, change management, business continuity, and project management.
• Assess network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and other internet technologies.
• Perform computerized audits using CAATs tools such as Audit Command Language (ACL) and conduct forensic IT audits.
• Audit data integrity, system configuration, and interface controls across production, finance, transport, and warehouse modules.
• Review cybersecurity controls, including antivirus management, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and patch updates.

Required profile

• B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in IT audit.
• Professional certification such as CISA (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional integrity and ability to meet deadlines.
