Inventory Officer (Construction)

About the role

The Inventory Officer will manage the daily flow of materials, tools and equipment for CTL Atlantis construction projects in Lagos. This role ensures accurate stock records, timely replenishment, and supports project teams with reliable inventory data.

Key responsibilities

• Open the store each morning, conduct stock counts and reconcile with previous records.
• Receive, verify and record incoming materials against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Process material requisitions from site supervisors, obtain sign‑off and issue stock.
• Perform regular spot checks and full inventory counts to ensure physical stock matches system records.
• Update daily inventory logs, flag low‑stock items and raise purchase requests.
• Secure the store, reconcile daily transactions and prepare next‑day delivery plans.
• Prepare weekly inventory summary reports covering stock levels, consumption rates and variances.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules and support the Quantity Surveyor with materials data for cost reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 12 months of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, preferably in construction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate stock discrepancies.
