Human Resources Professional (HR Administrator)

About the role

We are looking for a high‑calibre Human Resources Administrator to own people, performance, culture and HR systems for a fast‑growing construction and engineering services company in Nigeria. The role combines strategic HR leadership with hands‑on administration to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment and talent acquisition for corporate, technical and project‑based roles.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and people‑management systems.
• Drive performance management, KPIs, appraisals and employee development.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes and workplace issues.
• Ensure accurate personnel records, HR documentation and statutory compliance.
• Partner with management on workforce planning, organisational structure and manpower requirements.
• Support compensation, benefits, payroll coordination and employee welfare.
• Strengthen employee engagement, accountability and organisational culture.
• Provide management with actionable HR reports, insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience, preferably in construction, engineering, oil & gas or other project‑driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and HR administration.
• Proven experience managing recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality.
