About the role
The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests at Pistachio Foods Limited, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth flow through the dining area. This full‑time, on‑site role requires a friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to manage reservations and guest interactions efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous manner.
- Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and waiting lists.
- Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and coordinate seating to optimise capacity.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
- Communicate table availability and guest needs to servers and management.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of reception and waiting areas.
- Handle guest complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
- Thank guests on departure and encourage repeat visits.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: Diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar front‑of‑house role.
