Chef (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef to join our kitchen on a contract basis. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals that meet our recipes and customer expectations while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and customer requirements.
• Ensure food is presented to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Manage food ingredients and report stock shortages.
• Follow food safety and health regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Ability to prepare a variety of local and continental dishes.
• Neat appearance and good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
• Culinary training or certification is an added advantage but not compulsory.
