Fulfillment Officer

About the role

The Fulfillment Officer will ensure timely, accurate, and safe delivery of chocolate and other fast‑moving consumer goods to retail outlets, distributors, and customers across Lagos. This position is key to maintaining product quality, stock integrity, and high customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver chocolate and FMCG products on assigned routes according to daily schedules, ensuring on‑time performance.
• Load and unload delivery vans following food‑safety best practices to avoid product damage.
• Obtain proof of delivery and complete all delivery documentation accurately.
• Handle temperature‑sensitive products, maintaining proper storage conditions and monitoring temperature during transport.
• Apply FIFO principles, inspect goods before loading and after delivery, and report any discrepancies.
• Verify orders for accuracy, reconcile delivered quantities with invoices, and assist with stock counts, returns, and reverse logistics.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, report faults or incidents, and comply with road‑safety policies.
• Act as a brand ambassador, build positive relationships with customers, and handle delivery‑related queries professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in delivery driving, logistics, or FMCG distribution.
• Experience handling food products or temperature‑sensitive goods is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos roads, route planning, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with navigation software/platforms (e.g., Google Maps).
• Data‑entry capability for delivery documentation.
