About the role
The role supports the end‑to‑end execution of trade and shipping activities for an energy & utilities business. You will ensure accurate processing of product triggers, monitor quantities throughout the trade lifecycle and assist with financial analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and process product triggers based on approved instructions.
- Track contracted, loaded, delivered and outstanding quantities.
- Reconcile supplier invoices with transaction records.
- Calculate product landed cost and capture freight, premiums, agency, inspection, demurrage and other transaction costs.
- Support transaction‑level P&L and margin analysis, comparing estimated versus actual economics.
- Maintain open‑trade and completed‑trade schedules and registers.
- Flag trade‑execution discrepancies, exceptions and material cost/margin variances.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) minimum.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in trade or shipping operations.
