Facility Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Facility Officer to manage the day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of our farm facilities in Lagos. The role ensures that all building systems function efficiently, supporting a safe and productive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, including routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Coordinate repairs, schedule maintenance, and manage service contracts with external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor utility usage and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
• Supervise cleaning, security, and maintenance staff, responding promptly to any issues or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service contracts.
• Assist with space management and office layout planning.
• Guarantee that all equipment and systems operate efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and vendor management.
