Facility / Electrical Technician – On-site (Abuja)

About the role

Codelabprojects Nigeria Limited is looking for a reliable Facility / Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems at its Sabon‑Lugbe facility in Abuja. The role is fully on‑site and involves ensuring safe and efficient operation of power distribution, generators and backup systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and system failures.
• Inspect and service wiring, panels and power distribution networks.
• Ensure continuous operation of generators, inverters and backup power units.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on all electrical infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages.
• Maintain safety standards and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Support general facility maintenance and coordinate with external service providers when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven hands‑on experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and handle urgent issues.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Commitment to safety procedures and standards.
