Electrical Engineer – Design & Installation (Contract)

About the role

Seal Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop and supervise electrical systems for its construction projects in Lagos. The role involves hands‑on involvement from concept through installation, testing and maintenance, ensuring all work meets local codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and supervise electrical systems and installations.
• Conduct inspections, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and system issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and other engineering professionals.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical support during project planning and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Professional certification or registration (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution and safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
