Early Learning Teacher

About the role

Mictec Schools is seeking a passionate Early Learning Teacher to join its Marina campus in Lagos. The role involves fostering language, social, emotional and cognitive development in young children through play‑based, age‑appropriate activities. You will work closely with families and staff to create a nurturing learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that support language, social, emotional and cognitive growth.
• Create a safe, warm, and inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity and independence.
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress using recognized early‑years frameworks.
• Collaborate with parents and support staff to share insights and set individual learning goals.
• Participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings, and continuous professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching preschool or nursery classes.
• TRCN certification or equivalent teaching licence preferred.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and play‑based learning best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a nurturing disposition.
