Document Controller

About the role

The Document Controller will establish and maintain an efficient document control system for all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, register, classify, distribute, track, and archive engineering drawings, technical documents, contracts, reports and other project records.
• Maintain document registers, transmittal logs, revision histories and tracking databases, keeping them current and accessible.
• Coordinate with engineering and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely submission, review, approval and version control of documents.
• Support tendering, procurement, project close‑out and hand‑over activities by compiling required documentation.
• Prepare periodic document control reports and ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations and regulatory retention policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Library & Information Science, Records Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in document control or records management, preferably within EPC, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience working with Chinese or international EPC firms is an advantage.
