Direct Sales Agent

About the role

FMR Agency is seeking a motivated Direct Sales Agent to drive merchant acquisition for its digital payment solutions across Lagos. You will work primarily in the field, engaging SMEs, retail stores, hospitality venues, and corporate clients to expand the company’s payment ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential business clients within assigned territories.
• Promote and sell digital payment solutions, including collection and payout services.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits to prospects.
• Support merchants through onboarding, KYC documentation, and activation processes.
• Achieve monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities using CRM tools or provided reporting platforms.
• Provide follow‑up support to ensure customer retention and consistent product usage.
• Report market insights and competitor activities to sales leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum OND/HND/BSc in any discipline.
• 1–2 years of direct sales experience, preferably in FinTech, banking, telecoms, FMCG, or related industries.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
• Self‑motivated, confident, and target‑driven.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
• Good knowledge of the Lagos business landscape.
• Basic digital literacy (smartphone usage, WhatsApp, CRM tools).
