Customer Success Manager – New Markets (Madagascar & Mozambique)

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Success Manager to drive the success of our mesh‑grid pilots in Madagascar and Mozambique. Based remotely in Nigeria, you will work closely with local developer partners to move signed deals through deployment and ensure they meet key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with two developer customers to take pilots from signed deal to fully deployed and energized.
• Monitor project timelines, flag blockers early, and coordinate with product, support and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Onboard partners onto the Okra Harvest software platform and ensure confident usage.
• Track and act on KPIs such as ARPU, uptime, opex, delinquency and portfolio performance.
• Conduct regular check‑ins and business reviews, coaching partners on metric‑driven actions.
• Gather field feedback, translate it into product improvements and update internal playbooks.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience, preferably in the energy sector or off‑grid/rural electrification.
• Fluent in English and French; Portuguese a plus.
• Experience working with African markets and comfortable traveling to Madagascar and Mozambique.
• Strong ownership mindset, able to turn signed deals into well‑performing projects.
