Customer Service Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Officer to join our banking team in Lagos. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to our clients, handling inquiries, transactions and complaints while promoting our financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests and complaints.
• Process transactions and service requests in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, actively promoting the bank’s products and services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal service standards.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to achieve timely resolution of issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND from a recognized institution.
• Maximum age of 30 years at onboarding.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Officer in a bank.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, products and service practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
