Copy Writer – Advertising & Media

About the role

PRM AFRICA is seeking a talented Copy Writer to craft compelling copy for advertising campaigns across multiple channels. You will work closely with strategists, designers, and brand teams to bring ideas to life and ensure a consistent brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret creative briefs and develop campaign ideas and messaging.
• Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for print, digital, social, radio, TV, and outdoor media.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and brand strategists on integrated concepts.
• Create headlines, taglines, scripts, and body copy that align with brand tone and objectives.
• Research target audiences, market trends, and competitors.
• Present concepts and copy to internal teams and clients.
• Revise copy based on feedback and maintain brand voice consistency.
• Meet tight deadlines while upholding high creative standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, Journalism or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a copywriter in an advertising or creative agency.
• Strong portfolio showcasing advertising copy and campaign work.
