CNC Operator – Machine Setup & Production

About the role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our production team in Lagos. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining CNC equipment to deliver high‑quality wood components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC routers, lathes and milling machines, loading raw materials such as wood, plywood and MDF.
• Enter and adjust G‑code/M‑code programs for cutting, drilling, engraving and other operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and CAD/CAM files to meet design specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and report any faults.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers and gauges, making adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain an organized work area, monitor material usage and communicate shortages.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience operating CNC machinery.
• Strong knowledge of G‑code, M‑code and CNC programming principles.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for reading design files.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
