Extruder Operator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Extruder Operator to join our cable manufacturing plant. The role involves setting up, running and monitoring extrusion equipment to meet production targets while ensuring product quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and calibrate extrusion machines according to production schedules and cable specifications.
• Monitor machine parameters continuously, make adjustments and maintain optimal performance to achieve output targets.
• Control material usage, track raw‑material consumption and report any variances.
• Conduct routine machine checks before, during and after runs and record any downtime with root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve mechanical or technical issues promptly.
• Inspect finished cables for quality compliance and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment and follow all HSE policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating extrusion machinery.
• At least a diploma in a technical field.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline and reliability.
• Ability to work in shifts and under production pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
