About the role

The Akwa Ibom State Government is recruiting 3,000 candidates for civil service positions across various ministries and agencies for the 2025/2026 intake. These are stable, salaried roles that support the delivery of public services throughout the state.

Key responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of public services within assigned ministries such as Health, Education, Works, Agriculture, Finance, Administration, ICT, and others.
Perform duties in accordance with civil service regulations and government policies.

Required profile

Nigerian citizen (by birth or naturalisation), aged 18‑35, and completed NYSC.
Minimum five credits in WAEC, NECO or GCE, including English and Mathematics.
Hold a recognized ND, HND, university degree or equivalent qualification.
Physically fit and able to pass a compulsory medical examination.
Good character with no criminal record.
Two credible referees with verifiable addresses.
Successful completion of a written aptitude test and a physical fitness assessment.
