About the role
We are looking for a skilled Chinese Language Translator to join our construction team in Lagos. The role involves bridging communication gaps between Chinese expatriates and local staff, ensuring accurate and professional translation of all company materials.
Key responsibilities
- Provide real‑time interpretation for meetings, training sessions, interviews, and official engagements.
- Translate documents, reports, instructions, emails and other materials from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Assist Chinese‑speaking personnel with day‑to‑day communication and administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
- Support management and various departments with translation and interpretation as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (BSC) in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar translation or interpretation role.
- Strong command of both Chinese and English languages.
