Chief of Staff

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Chief of Staff to partner directly with the Founder and drive day‑to‑day operations across a growing portfolio of businesses. This executive position translates strategy into execution, ensuring priorities are aligned, teams stay accountable, and operations run smoothly without constant founder involvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across the company and its subsidiaries, establishing an effective operating rhythm.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans, coordinating initiatives across multiple business units and tracking deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
• Make operational decisions within agreed authority, escalating high‑impact matters to the Founder and ensuring decisions are implemented.
• Coordinate the leadership team, facilitate regular operating reviews, and remove obstacles that hinder execution.
• Build dashboards and reporting systems to provide visibility into performance, track KPIs, and maintain governance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in operations, business management, consulting, strategy, or executive leadership.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams, projects, or business units simultaneously.
• Excellent organisational, project‑management, and commercial judgement skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, high discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
• Deep knowledge of Nigerian culture, language(s), and etiquette, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
