Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our retail team in Marina, Lagos. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately using POS systems.
• Handle cash, cards, and other payment methods securely.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Greet and assist customers in a professional manner.
• Resolve basic customer complaints or escalate when necessary.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Track transactions and report discrepancies.
• Support store operations such as stocking and basic inventory tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE / OND qualification.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Residence in OPIC Estate, Ogun State or nearby.
