Business Support Executive

About the role

The Business Support Executive will coordinate customer orders, import documentation and regulatory compliance for a healthcare logistics operation. You will act as a bridge between suppliers, regulatory bodies and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Process approved customer orders with suppliers, ensuring accurate specifications and timely shipment.
• Manage Letters of Credit transactions, including documentation and compliance.
• Handle import documentation, clearing permits and statutory requirements for goods shipment and clearance.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities to facilitate seamless import processes.
• Receive consignments and verify them against packing lists and shipping documents.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
• Escalate unresolved operational issues to the Line Manager promptly.
• Prepare and submit required reports within stipulated deadlines.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Line Manager in line with company objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND (Second Class Upper or Upper Credit) in Natural or Applied Sciences.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment or sales/technical support for scientific equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Good understanding of importation processes and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
