Business Head

About the role

Rigo is seeking a Business Head to lead its enterprise‑focused healthcare technology portfolio in Nigeria. The role will drive revenue growth, market expansion and product adoption across health maintenance organisations (HMOs) and state health agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute go‑to‑market strategy to secure ERP, USSD and mobile app contracts with at least 10 HMOs and five state governments.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting through deal closure, targeting new segments in the healthcare ecosystem.
• Engage all licensed HMOs in Nigeria within 90 days and deliver product demos within 180 days to drive solution utilisation.
• Achieve 100 % year‑on‑year retention for ERP clients and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to provide market feedback and influence product direction.
• Establish and lead the business development function, including sales structures, tracking systems and performance accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of enterprise sales or business development experience, preferably with HMOs, health‑tech or fintech organisations.
• Proven record of closing high‑value B2B deals and managing post‑sale adoption.
• Strong understanding of healthcare financing, claims processing and provider‑HMO dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
