Audit Trainee – Full‑time, On‑site in Lagos

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Audit Trainee to join our Lagos office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role offers hands‑on experience in statutory audits, financial statement preparation and client interaction, supported by comprehensive training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing statutory audits for diverse clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Evaluate internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze financial data and draft audit findings.
• Communicate audit results clearly to clients and senior team members.
• Collaborate with audit team to provide business insights.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Understanding of accounting principles and audit standards.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with financial software (preferred).
