About the role
We are seeking a motivated Audit Trainee to join our Lagos office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role offers hands‑on experience in statutory audits, financial statement preparation and client interaction, supported by comprehensive training and mentorship.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing statutory audits for diverse clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with accounting standards.
- Evaluate internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial data and draft audit findings.
- Communicate audit results clearly to clients and senior team members.
- Collaborate with audit team to provide business insights.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Understanding of accounting principles and audit standards.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a team‑oriented environment.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with financial software (preferred).
