Associate Dentist

About the role

The clinic is seeking a qualified Associate Dentist to join its dental team in Lagos. You will provide comprehensive oral health care, support preventive programs, and collaborate with staff to ensure high‑quality patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, diagnose dental issues, and develop treatment plans.
• Perform routine cleanings, extractions, root canals, cavity fillings, and other dental procedures.
• Apply sealants, whitening agents, and other preventive treatments.
• Prescribe medications, including pain relievers and antibiotics, and administer sedation or anesthesia when required.
• Order and interpret diagnostic measures such as X‑rays and dental models.
• Utilize dental instruments (drills, probes, mirrors, etc.) to examine and treat patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Coordinate with other staff members to deliver seamless patient care.

Required profile

• Degree in Dentistry or related discipline.
• Relevant years of clinical experience.
• State dental license; malpractice insurance is an advantage.
• Additional certifications or licensing may be required.
• Strong computer proficiency and experience with healthcare databases.
• Commitment to comply with all local, state, and federal health regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
• Good management and teamwork abilities.

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 450,000 to NGN 600,000 per month.
