Associate Data Analyst

About the role

The Associate Data Analyst will join Sproxil’s Analytics & Data Intelligence team to transform large volumes of product verification, consumer engagement, supply chain and public‑health data into actionable insights. Reporting to the Lead Data Analyst, you will support multiple client programmes across pharmaceuticals, FMCG, cosmetics, agribusiness and donor‑funded health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Apply descriptive and inferential statistical methods, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis, to public‑health and survey datasets.
• Collect, clean, validate and organise data from internal platforms (authentication, CRM, call‑centre) and external client sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies in product verification volumes and consumer behaviour.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform and load data from PostgreSQL and other relational databases.
• Assist the Lead Data Analyst in preparing insight reports, presentations and periodic client performance reviews.
• Support the design and implementation of data‑quality frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency across pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience as a data analyst or in quantitative research.
• Experience working with public‑health, healthcare or consumer‑goods data is preferred.
